The Challenge
The intersections along the hall roads were critical points where heavy mining vehicles and support traffic crossed paths. Limited visibility during night operations created potential safety risks, demanding a reliable and sustainable lighting solution. The challenge was to provide adequate illumination without creating additional operational or maintenance burdens, while also aligning with Newmont’s environmental and safety standards.

We installed durable solar masts equipped with energy-efficient fixtures specifically positioned to maximize visibility at intersections. The Design
